Short-term Goals:
Make House Baby Ready: To refinish the crib and changing table, clean the highchair and car seats, and obtain a stroller by mid-march 2012.
Learn to Crochet: To crochet a nice looking baby hat, blanket, and booties by the end of April 2012.
Learning Photoshop: To artistically alter 10 photos using Photoshop, using a new technique each time, by July 2012.
Long-term Goals:
(Occupation) Teach Baby to read: Cut out poster board to designated sizes. Pay attention to the things baby is most familiar with (bottle, teddy bear, etc.) to use as words. Print out red letters and glue into words on the poster board. Starting at 6 months show him the words and say what they mean and then clap my hands and display affection and repeat 3 times daily. Cycle out words each week, and slowly switch to smaller cards. Select a book and make sentence cards and display the sentence cards as I did the words. Don’t test the baby or bore the baby.
(Education) Read Standard Works:
Read one of the standard works each year (a chapter a day and more as needed in November and December)
Complete the New Testament by December 31, 2011.
Complete the Old Testament by December 31, 2012
Complete The Doctrine and Covenants & The Pearl Of Great Price by December 31, 2013
Complete The Book of Mormon by December 31, 2014
(Relational/Networking) Start Online Photo Editing Business: Using my short –term goal completion I will create a webpage displaying my photo shopped pictures. I will develop prices etc. and come up with advertising idea. Using Facebook as a networking tool I will participate with other online craft businesses to get my work out there.
